HIGH-SPEED TRAIN TURNED ITS COURSE TO ANTALYA

Mobilization of the country’s transportation in the recent years is major.

The center of this mobilization is our railway system. The largest investment allocations in the history of our Republic are reserved for TCDD.

TCDD has become a well-respected establishment not only in our country but also in Europe and around the world. The most recent RAME –Regional Assembly for Middle East– meeting of UIC –International Union of Railways– has been conducted under the leadership of TCDD.

As the perceptions of time and space change by means of high-speed train lines built between İstanbul, Ankara, and Konya, our economic, social, and cultural lives have entered into a progress of change in the last thirteen years.

The circle that was affected by high-speed train lines expands gradually. The constructions of Ankara-İzmir, Ankara-Sivas high-speed, and Bursa-Ankara, Karaman-Konya speed rail lines are being conducted.

Antalya high-speed railway line is added to them now.

Antalya is going to have two separate speed rail lines as Eskişehir-Afyonkarahisar and Kayseri-Nevşehir-Konya.

Upon the completion of the project, the travel times are going to be reduced to 4.5 hours between Antalya-İstanbul, 3 hours between Antalya-Ankara, 3.5 hours between Antalya-İzmir and 3.5 hours between Antalya-Kayseri.

SERVICE QUALITY IS INCREASED BY THE COOPERATION BETWEEN TCDD AND THY –Turkish Airlines–

As TCDD, we materialize significant groundwork and superstructure investments to serve our citizens, as we work for increasing our service quality starting from High-Speed Trains.

Within this frame, we target to capture the world standards in service from training flight attendants to ticket sales by means of the cooperation agreement that was signed with THY.

Have a nice trip…
