İstanbul Airport’s Big Transfer is Completed

The transfer of the İstanbul Airport, which will be the largest airport in the world when all the phases are completed and will carry Turkey to a leading position in aviation, was completed last month.

Now all the aviation operations carried out at the Atatürk Airport in İstanbul are transferred to the İstanbul Airport. After the successful completion of the transportation operations, the air travel operations at İstanbul Airport are started to be provided in comfort.

Our citizens did not only embrace comfortable air travel. The security is increased and their connection to the world is strengthened. Now İstanbul Airport will meet the needs of the region as well as İstanbul and Turkey and will bring İstanbul to the position it deserves in the international airline market. İstanbul Airport will allow Turkey to obtain the qualifications of being a bridge and a center. We will begin to see the effects of this as of next year and therefore I would like to emphasize that İstanbul Airport will also affect the dynamics of global policy. Due to such conditions, İstanbul Airport will have a huge impact on our country as well as our private sector and Turkey’s foreign policy.

Our airport, which will meet the needs of İstanbul, as well as the Asian and African continents and will bring İstanbul to the position that it deserves in the international airline market, will ensure İstanbul to become a city that goes “beyond its age” just as it was during the time of Fatih Sultan Mehmet. That’s why we give great importance to this project.

Have a nice trip.
