The Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, showed the power of mobile device and technology manufacturers.

Nokia, owned by Microsoft by $ 7.9 million in September, introduced new X series using a different OS apart from Microdots Phone. Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop stating about the preference of Google’s Android OS maintained that a photograph editing software, Photoshop Touch and a messaging software, BlackBerry Messenger would be used in Nokia models in a very short time. The features of Nokia X are 4 inch 800×480 screen, dual-core 1 GHz Qualcomm Snap dragon processor, 512 MB RAM, +GB internal memory (be enhanced with micro SD), 5MP camera and 1500 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia Z2
Of the devices shown on the first day of the exhibition, Sony’s Xperia Z2 model has drawn great attention. The model which got larger with its 5.2 inch screen compared to former model offers Full HD resolution. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s new quad-core processor called 801, 3 GB RAM and 20.7 MP camera. The feature of the camera is that it can capture 4K videos and the mobile’s 3200 mAh battery offers long-lasting use during the day. The device still keeps the promise of being durable against water and dust.
Processor manufacturer, Qualcomm, introduced its new mobile processors in the exhibition. The processor called Snapdragon 615 has eight-core. At present there are no other devices but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that is using eight-core processor combined by two different processors. It is estimated that the advance will make smart mobile devices run more applications and will open up the possibility of using devices as computers by TV or monitor connections.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet
Sony also introduced tablet version of Z2. The product called Z2 Tablet draws attention as it is durable against water and dust like Z2. Being the thinnest and lightest 10 inch Android tablet, with its live Color LED technology, it has a vivid resolution. With its 6.4 mm thickness and 426 gram weight, Tablet Z2 offers great performance with its quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and owns Android 4.4.2 OS.
Sony Smart Band and Samsung Galaxy Gear 2
Sony’s Smart Band model, synchronizing with an Android phone, is able to make real-time record of location details, camera records and social media activities. Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 uses a Tizen OS instead of Android. With its 320×320 resolution on its 1.63 inch screen, Gear 2 now uses a dual-core, 1 GHz processor. Thinned device can also control TVs and DVDs with its infrared feature.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S5
As well as different features like finger print reader and pulsometer, new Galaxy is also durable against water and dust. S5, having a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen offering Full HD screen, has 2.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2 GB RAM and Android Kit Kat OS. It also has a 16MP camera and offers 16 or 32 GB memory options.
