THE PARIS MOTOR SHOW HAS ALSO BEEN A HOST TO ALL NEW AUTOMOBILES TO TAKE TO THE ROADS EVEN TO LUXURY SPORTS CARS. MANY NEW MODELS WHICH CONCERN OUR COUNTRY HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN THE FAIR WHICH BROKE A VISITOR RECORD THIS YEAR.
The heart of the automobile world was beating in Europe in the biggest and final big meeting of the year in the Paris Motor Show. The show that was first opened its doors in 1898 also carries the title of being one of the oldest automobile organizations in the world. The Paris Motor Show that hosted approximately 1.2 million visitors in 2014 broke a visitor record this year.
In the widely attended show, which introduces a large number of new models, the French producers Peugeot, Citroen and Renault used the advantage of being in their home. Besides the standard models and the models to be presented for sale immediately, super sports vehicles, the newest electric models and large SUV’s have taken the stage. FRENCH STYLE SUV 5008
In the show, Peugeot’s new SUV 5008 made its debut. The new Peugeot 5008 attracted attention by being a seven-seat Compact SUV. The brand has focused on three basic goals in the growing Compact SUV market with its new 5008 SUV model; continuing the brand’s moving to the upper class strategy, catching success in the international markets, and becoming the leader of the Compact SUV market. The new Peugeot 5008 that comes in diesel and gasoline engine options, of which both offer top quality efficiency, will be presented for sale in the international markets in the spring of 2017.
THE HYUNDAI I30 HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RENEWED
One of the other debut models, which is important for our country, would be the completely renewed Hyundai i30. The 3rd generation of the Hyundai i30, which was produced in Europe According to the expectations of the European customers, made its debut at the show. The automobile that has a new type of grill and was designed with a completely different approach also attracts attention with its lower volume turbo gasoline engines, advanced multimedia and security features. Hyundai also uses the 1.6-liter 136 HP turbo diesel engine that was used in the previous generation. This engine comes in 6-forward manual or 7-forward DCT transmission options. The new i30 will be on the roads next year.
SKODA STEPS INTO A NEW LANE
The Czech brand Skoda showed that it stepped into a new lane in Paris with its Kodiaq SUV model. The Kodiaq, which displayed the brand’s modern design taste on an SUV, offers an attractive visual with an extraordinary practicality. The large SUV, which is equipped with the most advanced technology, also attracts attention with Skoda’s above-the-class width. The Czech brand’s new SUV model comes in 5 or 7 seat options. The Kodiaq will enter our country in the first quarter of next year with the 1.4 TSI gasoline and 2.0-lt TDI diesel engine options in different HPs.
SEDAN WILL PRODUCE EXCLUSIVE TO TURKEY
Ford introduced their small automobile the KA+ at the Paris Motor Show. The hatchback version of the model, which began to be sold in the European markets in fall, will have a four door sedan version produced to be sold in our country and in some markets of Eastern Europe. The KA+, which will rise on the B platform that was used for Ford Fiesta, Ecosport and B-Max, will have enough space for 5 people with its 3.93 meter of total length and 2.49 meter wheelbase. The model, which will offer rational solutions for its interior, will also grab attention with its 270-liter trunk capacity. The model that will be equipped with a 1.2-lt four-cylinder gasoline engine (70 and 85 HP) will have a 169 km/h maximum speed and an average 5lt/100 km factory data gas consumption.
