We Are Opening The World Giant On October 29

Turkey will become an important transfer hub between Western Europe and the Far East; we will be opening the first phase of the İstanbul New Airport, which will have a 200 million passenger capacity when all of its phases built with approximately 10.2 billion Euro of investment and 22.2 billion Euro of rent are complete, despite all obstacles on October 29, 2018.

We are opening İstanbul New Airport, which will serve for the passenger and cargo transport of five continents, this month with a ceremony with the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkey The Honorable Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, despite the effort of some circles to disrupt the motivation of the workers and demoralize our nation with the allegations of “They will be unable to open the airport on October 29.” Because we know that this airport will add strength to the power of Turkey, it will add strength to the economy. Africa, Far East, and Central Asia will meet with Europe and the USA through this airport. However, it will have a significant impact on employment and the Turkish economy.

Turkey already maintains an excellent record in short-range flights. Looking at long-range flights, the record needs to be strengthened. In addition to Turkish Airlines, only one airline company from the entire American continent and three from the Far East fly to İstanbul. There is no airline flying long range from Africa. India and China, such countries to comprise the two-thirds of the world’s population, has no airlines flying to Turkey. This situation will be reversed with our new airport. Turkey will play for the leadership in air transportation. We will open the world giant that will be one of the most important driving forces of Turkey’s growth on October 29.

Have a pleasant trip…
